Zentrales Hotel mit freundlichem Personal. Saubere Zimmer und Sanitäreinrichtungen. Vielfältiges Frühstücksbuffet. Sagenhafter Blick von Zimmer 401 auf die Burg.

A well situated hotel next to the Karls bridge. Romantic in a baroque style. Unfortunately some negative remarks. Reception was more interested in talking in the phone or playing on the PC than to take care of guests. A 40W bulb to light up a big bathroom gave problems when shaving etc. No parking facilities. Was directed to a far away parking garage at €25 per day.
Hotel is mentioned in the book "1001 places to visit before you die". So I was shopping around on internet at all hotel reservation sites including the hotel itself but only Athos travel could offer a substantial discount, which made the price acceptable.
