โรงแรม U Prince - rating and guest reviews

We have stayed in the U Prince twice now and would never stay anywere else the rooms are excellant and the staff welcoming and friendly.

For the smart traveller this Hotel is great. Complain to get a better room and you can't beat the location, atmosphere and facilities.

I suggest you start your night out in the ground floor bar or the rooftop terrace bar then head out into Prague itself to eat.

Don't expect too much for breakfast though.

HAVE NEVER STAYED IN A "HOTEL" LIKE THIS BEFORE.
THE MAJORITY OF THE STAFF HAVE NO MANNERS AT ALL.
AT EVERY OPORTUNITY THE HOTEL TRIES TO OVER CHARGE ON TOP OF THEIR ALREADY INFLATED PRICES.
DEFINITELY DO NOT LET THE HOTEL ORDER YOU A TAXI, UNLESS YOU REALLY WANT TO PAY 3 TIMES THE CORRECT FARE.
WHERE IT GETS ITS 5 STAR RATING FROM I DREAD TO THINK. IT IS NOT WORTHY OF 1 STAR

BEST ADVICE - - KEEP WELL AWAY.

Terrible service - in a five star hotel one rather expet maids to say good morning while passing by. Unpleasant lady at the reception desk. Hotel is named "At Prince" but rooms look more like in burgeois merchandiser's house. For breakfast you may expect one kind of cheese, ham which looks like canned for army purposes and cold scrambled eggs. Room equipment would be suitable for a three-star hotel, size as well. Junior suite is 20 sqm! Avoid this terrible accomodation for 200 euros. At the end, reception desk clerk tried to rip us off and ordered us a no name taxi - driver wanted 450 CZK for a railway station ride while regular price is about 120-150!!!

Velmi prijemny hotel

I have never stayed as an obernight guest at the hotel, but have visited the restaurant/bar several times, and definitly recommend it. It is a beautiful building with good service, and one of the best atmospheres in Prague.
