The hotel is convenient and the staffs are friendly and helpful. However, as a visitor coming from Asia and always spoiled by the high standard hotel service in Asia, the room appeared to be too basic and too expensive. Having said that, the overall accommodation in Prague is expensive, so it all depends on your budget to determine which hotel you are staying. I would recommend people travelling on a limited budget to stay in V Tunich 14 as it is probably the best you could get out of it.

Cheap, simple accommodation without any frills but conveniently located close to the centre. Great if all you need is somewhere to sleep at the end of the day.

The V Tunich was spotless and convenient. Although renovations were being done, my breakfast was brought directly to my room each morning. Elizabeth and Veronica were outtanding concierges.

- Shower was the smallest I have ever tried to enter. It was tricky getting in and out.
- A small lounge would have been an additional plus.

- Our hotel staff was very helpful. The rooms were always clean.
- The hotel is no-frills, just the basics for the traveler who plans to be out enjoying the beautiful city.

- we were in the Tunich V for 5 days, most of the time non-smokers were in the other room s on our floor. Howerver when smokers iccupies the nearby roooms, the smoke saturated our room and we were quite uncomfortable with the odor.
- Anyone traveling in Prague should be aware of the hotel's proximity to hospitals. We had a medical emergency and since there was no one on staff in the evening, I was forced to find someone on the streets to help me get an ambulance. Spend time getting to know the phone system in the hotel, the services in the area, and watch for the uneven sidewalks. While visiting I was among the many visitors who fell and injured myself, while looking at the architure instead of where I was going!!!

Very helpful, friendly staff. Except on our first night we were told no nearby restaurants were open past 11 pm - we found several just three blocks away!
It was hot in Prague - lack of A/C a factor especially on upper floors. Fortunately we had a ground floor room.Positives

Our room was comfortable and very clean, which was the most important thing for us. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location of the hotel helped us avoid the means of transport. We also liked the breakfast.
