After a complete reconstruction, in May 2000 the Golden Star House reopened its ancient gate to glitter with its uncomparable beauty. The first written notes of the House date back to 1372 when it was owned by the Mayor of Hradcany. During the next centuries the House changed its owners several times. Among then we can find Czech kings´servants, members of different religious orders and many important Prague burgees. In 1723-32, when owned by the official of Czech Royal Chamber Baltazar Knapp, the House went over thorough and expensive reconstruction that put it in the today´s shape. The recently finished recontruction preserved the original architectural elements and completed them carefully with luxury facilities of modern way of life.

Hotel Zlata Hvezda is in the best location with absolutely fantastic window view in the best and liveliest street you can ever find amongst any other Hotels in Prague with nice staff as well. For any other future stay, I will book with no doubt this hotel and will definitely recommend all my friend to enjoy their time during their stay in Prague at this nice hotel.

Everything is quite satisfying.
The only recommendation for the Hotel Management to make their guests as happy as possible is:
1. Serving WARM breakfast with more variety
2. Prepare rooms with 2 bottles of water daily
