The hotel is central and makes getting around prague by foot easy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

No complaints at all.

We very recently enjoyed our stay at the Jalta. The hotel was friendly, comfortable, and ideally situated for sightseeing. We were members of a conference party. The arrangements for the conference and for after meetings social gathering were excellent. Our thanks to ALL of the staff at Jalta and to the lovely City of Prague for making us so very welcome. We experienced no problems throughout our stay.

We had a really comfortable stay for four nights in July (special deal meant we only paid for three). The Hotel is well located at the National Museum end of Wenceslass Square and within 15 minutes walk of the Charles Bridge and The Castle area. The rooms were well furnished including a free safe and air-con. Some of our party had rooms facing the back of the hotel where some building work is in progress so I would specify front of hotel next time as the traffic in Wenceslass Square was no problem. The breakfast buffet was extensive and a relaxed atmosphere prevails. The desk staff were very helpful and allowed us to extend our check-out (no pun intended) by 1 hour to ease the trip to the airport for our flight times. The minibus transfer at 720 Krona was a bargain for 8 people ( £2.50 a head ) but buckle up because the drivers are all trainee Schumachers. Prague is a great place for a long week-end. The Pilsner is fantastic and often at good prices. Our best was 22 Krona near the Castle, the worst was 99 krona in the Old Town Square looking at the Astronomical clock. Well worth a visit is the Tygra on Husova street. they only sell beer in one size and coffe. It is a locals place and most of the tables are reserved for regulars but we found space available between 3-4 pm. Hope you enjoy the place as much as we did ! xxx
