Prag ist eine wunderschöne Stadt mit Ihrer Historie.
Auch das historische Gebäude jetzt Hotel Europa ist sehenswert.
Es ist nur sehr sehr schade, dass ein so schönes Gebäude verkommt und nicht saniert wird.
Es könnte wieder das 1. Haus am Platz sein.
Die Hotezzimmer sind verschmutzt Wände und alter Teppichboden, die Farbe blättert von den Fensterrahmen, die Dusche besitzt keinen Vorhang, das kleine Bad mit Toilette stehen beim Duschen unter Wasser.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt in Prag, sehr zufrieden mit unserem Hotel Europa und dem Zauber der Stadt erlegen.

DELUSIONE TOTALE! L'HOTEL EUROPA E' DEFINITO 4 STELLE SULLE GUIDE, ALL'INGRESSO UN BIGLIETTO DI CARTA INFORMA CHE SI TRATTA DI HOTEL 2 STELLE!! LA PULIZIA E' ASSOLUTAMENTE INSUFFICIENTE. L'ODORE DI CIPOLLE PROVENIENTE DALLA CUCINA INVADE GLI AMBIENTI FIN DAL MATTINO. IL BREAKFAST E' POVERO E DI QUALITA' SCADENTE. I SERVIZI IGIENICI SONO FATISCENTI, DA TERZO MONDO, SENZA BIDET, CON ARREDI (!) IN PLASTICA DA SUPERMERCATO, SPORCHI, MAI RISTRUTTURATI, CON PARETI PIASTRELLATE E VERNICIATE GROSSOLANAMENTE, INDEGNI DI UNA STRUTTURA CHE SI VANTA DI ESSERE IL PIU' ALTO ESEMPIO DELLO STILE LIBERTY A PRAGA. LA FACCIATA, LA SCALA INTERNA ED IL SALONE BAR MERITEREBBERO UNA RIPULITA, ILLUMINAZIONE ADEGUATA ED ALMENO UNA SPOLVERATA AI LAMPADARI. I TURISTI CHE FOTOGRAFANO CONTINUAMENTE LA FACCIATA EVITINO IL SOGGIORNO ALL'H. EUROPA FINO A QUANDO NON SARA' COMPLETAMENTE RISTRUTTURATO, CON PERSONALE COMPETENTE E QUALIFICATO.

Stopped at hotel Evopa with a group of 6 friends in April 2009. Paid approx. £400 for 4 rooms for one night. The rooms themselves were basic to say the least. Very cheap rough plastic carpets, thin nasty looking pine furniture and a door into the room that would take no effort to open even if locked. The toilet/washroom was about 5 feet square and contained the toilet, shower and sink. The shower had no shower curtain and so everything was drenched whenever either of us had a shower. The toilet/washroom furniture was equally old and tatty. The sink didn't have a plug and all the metal items like towel rail and mirror frame were starting to rust.

In my opinion this is a hotel that is living on past glories. Stop there if you want somewhere near to the centre, but make sure you get a good deal on the price.

an absolutely beautiful and unique place to stay. very clean and comfortable, and the shared bath was not a problem. excellent full breakfast, but make sure you take your card, as the staff are very strict! great location, could walk to old town in 10 minutes. would recommend this for any travellers, young and old

Great location in New town, and people are nice there with cafe in the first floor. so for the price, it was good!! But if you stay in a hotel for long time during day, may not be too comfortable, but just to rest at night, it was nice, charming furnitures,,SMALL bed!!

thank you for all. we have had a verry good time at prague. the hotel europa was verry good in relation to price. service and cleanness was ok. only the douche was a little bid discutable, but at last only optical.
the organissation of athos was verry good. thanks for the intelligent and friendly Milan Tomasek, who did the transfer by car.
next time, we want to stay at prague, we will work with atos every time . thanks.

We was in this hotel 13 years ago. it was great for historical expereinces. the atmosphäre was gerat. the service verry good, the restaurant verry good, the berakfast totaly ok, the rooms ok, clean. we was verry happy there.
this august (26.-28.08.06) we will stay again at the "europa".

I have read many views of this of this hotel - all bad, but I still elected to stay here. My experience was good. i was staying alone for 4 nights in the single room with share bathroom: On arrival the people were nice, the room clean and there the bathroom was clean and only I think used by one other even though hotel full. Breakfast OK if you don§t need the full thing. But anyway food is so cheap in prague you can go elsewhere. my friends had crepes in the cafe and thought they were the best they tasted.
Location is central , but wensceles square not too nice.

I have been in this hotel two years ago and I can tell you that it has a beautiful facade, but it is all.
The rooms, the service and the reception people are worst.

friendly staff, nice food, not too expensive. very central for sightseeing, lot's of eating and drinking places close by. live music downstair's (jazz type, piano, older pop). discreet bar with "ladies" on first floor after 8pm...lol. not top class fixtures and fitting's in the room i had but it was clean and tidy, if you want luxury pay extra or go elsewhere. i was there from 2nd June 2005 - 5th June 2005 and i will be staying here next time again. i would recomend it to most people, but it's maybe not ideal for families or people taking children with them.
