Hotel U Schnellu - rating and guest reviews

WE liked the hotel and its staff very much. Our trip to Prague was fantastic, we could easily stayed another week.
We would highly recommend the 4 hour walking tour, it was wonderful.All the poeple we met were friendly and helpful. Other than trying to find our way to the hotel(we were driving) was a challenge. The folks at the the travel agency were most helpful in guiding us to our destination, thanks to our cell phone

Hotel staff were great - very helpful and courteous. Our room(s) were huge and clean. Despite a little noise from the street cars we slept soundly every night - beds were very comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring both sides of the river and the breakfasts were delicious and much more food than we expected. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others! Thank you.

Excellent location in between Castle and Charles Bridge. Rooms well decorated, spacious and quiet thanks to double glazing, despite being next to tram line. Would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel, brilliant location. Lovely restaurant and friendly staff.
Within easy walking distance of the Charles Bridge and the cathedral.

The situation is perfect, near the castle and near Alexandre bridge and the old center.
The staff is nice, and the rooms large and clean.

Pobyt v hotelu U Schnellu byl velmi příjemný. Děvčata v recepci milá, pocit, jako by se člověk vracel do tepla staré Prahy- jenom praskání ohně v kamnech chybí. Kouzlo v místnostech restaurace, kouzelný pocit v pokoji, který poskytoval pěkný výhled na Malostranské náměstí. Velice rádi bychom se stali !stamgasty"- jen nevím jak to udělat v létě. For the price and location this hotel was excellent, the staff were all very pleasant, the food was really good value.The location was perfect for wandering about on foot around central Prague,only a few hundred metres from Charles bridge, and close to the castle.
We will be returning to Prague and will book this hotel again without hesitation.

Hotel u Schnellů je velmi hezký a příjemný hotel. I když slečna v recepci měla spoustu práce, dokázala se nám plně věnovat a být příjemná, což není vždy pravidlem. Pokoj byl čistý a uklizený. Přesně takový, jak je to prezentováno na internetu. Pokoj byl prostorný a z okna bylo vidět i na pražský hrad. Zastávka tramvaje je pár kroků od hotelu, takže při návštěvě Prahy spojené s konzumací alkoholu se nemusíte obávat, že budete muset využít taxi službu. Snídaně je servírovaná, ale porce je dostačující a jídlo si vyberete z menu. Určitě se do tohoto hotelu ráda vrátím a při kombinaci ceny a nabízených služeb je tento hotel skutečně vynikající!

I have never had a better hotel experience. The room was clean and nice, and the staff was extremely attentive. Prague was all the more exciting with Hotel U Schnellu as our home base.
