To lodge at the Lokál Inn is to experience a striking combination of contemporary comfort and superb Czech cuisine.

The pairing of inn and restaurant provides an unusual opportunity for sampling freshly prepared home-style Czech food. Beer at the restaurant is drawn under the supervison of Lukáš Svoboda, the 2010 Pilsner Urquell International Master Bartender, and served directly from the tanks in which it is brewed.

U bílé kuželky, the building in which the inn is housed, was designed by the Bohemian Baroque architect Kryštof Dientzenhofer as a family dwelling. Its construction took seven years, from 1708 to 1714, and it has been designated a national cultural treasure.

AMENITIES
The Lokál Inn offers a choice of eight double rooms and four suites together with a broad range of services. The rooms and suites, which have recently been refurbished, are furnished with elegant handmade furniture. The suites retain the original painted wooden ceilings, which date from the eighteenth century and are of considerable historic interest. The attic rooms contain the original wooden beams.

All the rooms and suites are equipped with: a television set, high-speed Internet access, a telephone with a direct line, an electronic safe, a minibar, a luggage stand, a well-lit writing desk, abathroom with a shower or bathtub, a hairdryer and all the necessary natural cosmetics.

RESTAURANT
The ground floor and basement of the building house a highly regarded restaurant that serves traditional Czech food. The taproom, open kitchen and glassed-in tanks containing Pilsner beer convey the flavour of a genuine Czech restaurant, one devoted to the maintenance of Czech culinary traditions. Fresh ingredients, provided by the best regionalsuppliers, are used to the greatest extent possible. Meals are prepared as if in an old-fashioned inn, with daily lodgers in mind. The restaurant is committed to the ideas of "Slow Food" and to the principle that food should be prepared only in ways that do no harm to the environment.

Guests at the inn are provided with anadditional choice: full board or half board. Breakfast is included in the price of the room and served from 8.00 to 10.00 daily.

Reservations may be cancelled, free of charge, up to 48 hours before check-in time. For cancellations made after 48 hours before check-in time, the Client's credit card will be charged one night’s rate (as given in the confirmation letter).

For bookings that required the pre-authorization of credit cards, the total amount of the reservation will be refunded if the cancellation was made 48 hours before check-in time; for cancellations made after 48 hours before check-in time and/or in cases of no-show, the total amount of the reservation, minus one night's rate, will be refunded.

For group bookings (4 rooms and more) reservations may be cancelled, free of charge, up to 20 days before the check-in date. For cancellations made after 20 days before the check-in date, the Client's credit card will be charged a cancellation fee, as follows:

if the cancellation is made between 20 and 5 days before the check-in date, the Client will be charged 50% of the total amount;

if the cancellation is made at any time after the 5th day before the check-in date, the Client will be charged 100% of the total amount; for special deals or package deals the Service Provider has the right to set specific cancellation conditions; the Client will be told about these and the payment conditions at the same time.

The hotel reserves the right to preauthorize credit cards prior to arrival.
