The house of the hotel At The Three Drums (U tri bubnu)
was built in 15th century. It consist of two adjoining buildings. The complete renovation to a small comfortable hotel was finished in May 2002 (the left building) and in April 2003 (the right building). The house is located in the historical centre of Prague only 100 metres from the Old Town Square.Opposite to the house where once lived the writer Franz Kafka. In the left building we offer accommodation in 4 double rooms and 1 six beds suite. All rooms are equipped with stylish furniture, TV with satellite (over than 120 channels), direct-dial telephone, hair-dryer, safe deposit, minibar, WI-FI Internet connection and private bathroom with shower or bath and toilet.

In the right building we offer accommodation in 9 double rooms, 3 attic rooms (for 2, 3 or 4 persons) and 1 quad beds suite. All rooms are equipped with stylish furniture, TV with satellite, direct-dial telephone, hair-dryer, safe deposit, minibar, Internet cable connection and private bathroom with shower or bath and toilet. The rooms are located on 2nd and 3rd floor and in the attic and are very quiet(no lift in hotel)
On the ground floor and in the basement is located Restaurant Ambiente Brasileiro offering meals of international cuisine and specialities of Brazil cuisine.
Breakfast is served in the breakfast room on the ground floor
In the close proximity of the hotel you can find other various restaurants, bars and pubs.

• computer with high-speed internet access is available free of charge in the lobby • LAPTOPS are available to borrow from the reception desk free of charge • DVD players are available in all rooms and DVD discs can be borrowed from the reception desk free of charge • luggage room free of charge • safe deposit free of charge in each room • baby cot free of charge • laundry service within 24 hours • non-stop reception provides a number of services such as booking tickets, trips, restaurant reservations, mail delivery, flight confirmations, sale of drinks, maps, stamps, sanitary goods • possibility of using fax machine, lending of iron, ironing-board, umbrellas • secure parking is possible in the Rudolfinum garages - 400 metres from the hotel for the charge of 600,- Czk per 24 hrs

Overall, we were very pleased with the hotel. The room was not quite as expected -- we had booked a superior, double room and expected seperate beds and a larger room. The beds were narrow and joined and collapsed toward the center, making it rather difficult to sleep. The room had only 1 window and was quite stuffy and rather dark. The stairs were absolute killers -- we truly would have booked elsewhere had we known. We were at the top level (except for the attic rooms) & hauling our luggage was grueling. Evacuation in the event of a fire definitely concerned me. Breakfast was great, the internet was great and the staff were very cordial and friendly (with the exception of one sullen young woman who was incredibly rude.) Noisy neighbors outside and rolling garbage cans in the mornings were a bit frustrating -- we didn't sleep too well during our stay. The location is absolutely unbeatable.

Location!! Internet access.

Stairs, Stairs, Stairs!! Noisy. Poor beds.
