The web site for the La Prague stated that it had Play Station 2 and internet. It had neither. When we inquired at the desk we were told that the units on the other side of the building had regular internet, while our unit had wireless internet. It did not. I had a laptop with me and a wi-fi Skype phone and neither piece of equipment could detect a wireless provider. Being that the unit we rented was the second most expensive unit, I really felt that the web site statements were misleading. However, the thing that bothered me the most was the rundown and dirty condition of the unit. It desperately needed to be painted and there were dust balls everywhere. The blinds and windows were so filthy that you could write your name in the dust! I thought about leaving, but since the owner made you pay in full upon arrival (which was not stated in the agreement), I couldn't afford to.
The one thing that I can say positive about the place is that it was roomy and had a nice kitchen.

When we arrived at La Prague Residence we were informed that our room was unavailable and we were sent to another apartment around the corner. The other apartment we stayed in was not as nice as the one we originally booked and did not allow us to use our credit card, we had to go to a THIRD hotel/apartment to pay for the room. We eventually got settle into our accomodation but not without the hassle and inconvenience of moving and looking for somewhere to pay by creditcard which too the enjoyment out of our trip.

We did receive a discount for our trouble. However we we have loved to stay in our original accomodation and can't help but wonder why we were not informed of the difficulties BEFORE our departure to Prague.

    Positives

    • Discount on accomodation

    Negatives

    • Not getting to stay in the aparment we originally booked

Excellently appointed apartment just of Wensleslas Square. Very large rooms with all the equipment one would need-the balcony was ideal looking over the garden of the church behind. The 24hour security guard was much appreciated-especially when we had locked the apartment with the key inside-she was extremely helpful. A perfect break-we shall be back as there is more of Prague we want to visit. Many thanks.

    Positives

    • Position, very large rooms, balcony and 24hr. security guard.

    Negatives

    • Occasional traffic noise and building noises from road repairs.

It was a beautiful building and apartment. We stayed with 4 people for 3 nights and had a great stay. Very spacious.
Tips for the owner: Blinds for the inner bedroom where the window looks into the living area. Should have at least 1 full length mirror...maybe in the entrance. Should also have a broom and some cleaning supplies. Tends to get a bit dusty after a day or two.

Our answer: All the tips were accepted by the manager and arranged ;-) Thank you!

Very well furnished and equiped - and very peaceful position. Would be better to have thicker or darker curtains in the main room - so that the early morning light does not wake you up. There is a problem with the bedroom radiator - we had to turn the themostat right down to stop a hammering sound that woke us up in the middle of the night.
It is not usual to have to pay before you move in, but if you do want this you need to may it clearer in your instructions. Finally a spare toilet roll would have been appreciated!!

Our answer: If the toiled paper is finished it is possible to collect another rolls at the reception.
Payment on the arrival is prefered by the manager because of bad experience from the past...
Daer curtains are at the moment only in 2 apartments. However, they will be soon in all the apartments.

I traveld with my 2 grown-up sons. For the first time the 3 of us for a very long time. I booked the appartment on the internet and we did not really know what to expect. We were very surprised and we enjoyed our stay at the appartment. The interior was very modern and luxury and very much to our tast.
Just one suggestion. The bathroom was beautiful, but the missing link was a wall in the bath to prevent the shower to make the bathroomfloor wet.
For the rest only praise! We loved Prague, which is so very beautiful, we were very sorry that we had to leave already so soon!
    Thank you for your service!
